I have a day job as a television executive but my favourite part of the day is waking up next to my beautiful partner and then going for my yoga classes. I am a yoga newbie and since starting some months ago I no longer PMS, people smile at me much more often and I find life so much easier. Its really changing my life in ways i could never imagine.

It has taught me about patience (when i just KNOW I'm going to tumble in a posture, I think, don't worry, come back tomorrow and try again), tolerance (flailing hands from the other 2 on either side who haven't yet figured the 'stagger' formation in a crowded class!). It's taught me how to be here be aware and yet be calm and not let life's chaos get the better of me which it used to (and still does very occasionally of course…). to breathe and to do so deeply. its also taught to me put myself in another person's shoes which has calmed down my highly fiery aries ways… not something that i am proud of characteristically, but i am really, really working on that one.
 
So, I really like life now. Inspite of bills and some people around me who are just nasty, I am really content and hope for the best for myself and the planet and my friends and family…. and just everybody!

My favourite quote of all time is from Aeon Flux (the cartoon, not the film) and its 'light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing' - I love it so much i have it tattooed on my skin…
